anyone heard good or bad about them?

I have no personal experience with the safe at all.  I just recently purchased a Sturdy safe but for the time being it's my only form of protection.  If you layer your security (Alaram, dog, fake/real cameras, etc..) the Winchester may be enough.

Disclaimer:  I know Sturdy get's mentioned on this site alot and people seem to either love them or hate um, but it's what I wanted, YMMV.

If you have a low price range....  then a china safe might be the only option...  look at liberty, winchester, etc. http://diamondbackgunsafes.com (H series)   .  I did not buy a daimond back due to the 1 year warrenty, plus I wanted a few more features then what they offer (I had a few more bucks that I could spend).

Im pretty sure they are the same as a cannon safe (made by the same company).  Could be wrong but I seem to remember reading that.
