Anyone ever tried something like this to monitor the temp/humidity history in their safe?

You can get a small wireless weather station and put the sensor into the safe to monitor the conditions inside.  It would be monitored in real time, and less of a hassle than downloading the data after the fact, and cheaper too.

i have a cheap Honeywell model for less than $20 and it works great. Make sure you keep the receiver close by because of all the steel that will minimize the signal.
