can a Magpul  AFG be mounted on a sig 556 classic with I what I assume they call the "swiss handguard" the one without the rail. I see they offer the 3 rail add on system for the handguard in mind but was wondering with that system can the AFG be mounted and used successfully?

The bottom rail for the "Swiss Type" handguard is 4" long. That's the min rail length needed for the AFG, but only 3" is needed for the AFG2.
Either one should fit.

My Sig 556 Classic Patrol has the OEM hand-guards already angled, so its like it is already an Angled Forward Grip.
