I filled out a request on the ATF site through the online form for my FFL forms, I know I submitted it properly and the request should have went through okay but I still havent received anything after roughly 6 weeks now. What is the norm for this? Is there any faster way to get the forms?

I have not gotten the application I oredered on the web and it has been over two months.  I called in and got it in three weeks.  Seems backwards these days but you might want to call it in.

That number has changed. The correct number is (301) 583-4696.

I got one by going to the local Vegas ATF office.

Try calling your local ATF office. Ask for the industry side, not the agent side.
