How many rounds of what ammo on what gas setting?

Lazyengineer has 5000 or so through his.

700 rounds, regular factory ammo (S&B)
gas setting normal
The affected surface makes contact when the bolt closes, so gas setting and ammo should not make much difference.

It looked a little battered on the upper side as well, where the pin might hit when unlocking forcefully.

Thats true, there are indentions where the pin hits when turning in either direction.
