I’m thinking about buying a new barrel and experimenting on my used one to make a dedicated suppressor barrel. Has anyone here taken the gas block off, looks like a fairly simple affair with 2 pins but not sure if it’s a press fit type deal. Any advice would be appreciated.

The one I found online only shows barrel removal which isn’t a big deal really. I’m talking about the gas block assembly removal. I know I’ll have to knock the pins out, just unsure of how tight the block is on the barrel. Guess the only way to find out is to give it a shot.
