Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Scope interchangeability on AUG A3/M1 question.

I purchased a skinny stg housing from Pete to install on my Aug M1, it replaced the factory 3x circle/crosshair reticle that ships with certain M1 models.

Is that M1 optic (housing and all) compatible with the A3?

Checking Pete’s website tonight and he lists the scopes as “A3/M1” on his pricing page.

This makes me think they can fit either model of AUG.

The M1 scopes are incompatible with the plain A3, different receiver cuts.

The model name is A3 M1, which replaced the A3. Optic housings and receiver rails of one to another are not interchangeable.

There's the SSG08 bolt gun and an upgraded yet different SSG08 M1. Sort of the same deal...
