I have a steyr aug/a3 m1 with a mud color nato stock I purchased new and it annoys the hell out of me that the buttplate does not go all the way to the bottom of the stock. I also have a Sabre Defence Aug with the regular stock that takes aug magazines and it does not have this problem. Does anybody here know if this is a normal thing.

Does the buttpad from the SDI AIG have the same look on the mud stock?

Yes switched butt plates and they both have the gap on the nato stock.
