On Hornady’s website they state that lead and plated will not work with these dies. Has anyone had any luck with them on a Hornady LnL progressive?

Mr Bullet Feeder makes one that is supposedly 100% with any type of bullet

Specifically talking about Berrys 115gr and Xtreme 147 flat point

I use plated in mine all the time. Works just fine.

Can't speak to the Hornady dies, but the MBF ones I have work very well when adjusted properly.

Thanks all. Gonna try it. Cheaper than a MBF and I have about 3k in FMJ also

My Hornady die worked fine with plated 9mm from RMR.

Plated works for me on .45 and 9mm.

Another option is using those does with the Hornady bullet feed tubes, if you’re doing pistol ammo. They’re about $30 for 3, and they work well for me

I have both the Hornady and Mr Bullet Feeder, get the Mr Bullet as it's easier to set up and will even feed bullets lubed with Alox. Hornday only really works good with jacketed bullets.

My Hornady bullet feeder dies work great with plated and lead bullets.
