Looking to load up for 3-gun and rifle side matches for next year. Distances are well under 100 yards, haven't shot much over 50 all this year. These have a decent price. What's the skinny on them. Reviews seem good. Thanks. ZW

They work fine.

Far better than 55gr FMJBT Winchester .224"s.

Nothing to offer,, bought (2) box of 500 at local Cabelas when on sale early this summer, still not done anything with them yet

Figure blasting ammo be what they'll get used for

I have several thousand of them,  I think they're pretty good for the price. Not the best but not bad at all especially under 100m.

I have several thousand of these on hand, and use them for my plinking ammo. I load them over the minimum charge of IMR 8208 XBR and get 2800 fps out of my 16" barreled carbines. It's cheap and easy on brass.

Sometimes Cabela's will have these on sale for ~$30 per 500. I have yet to find a cheaper 55gr fmj projo, unless you're buying in large quantity. The Berry's 55gr bullets are uniform, have a slight cannelure, and are capable of decent accuracy.

I like them. They're decently accurate and extremely affordable from where I purchase mine from. They're no where near the quality to that of Hornady's FMJ but they definitely hold their own.
