I smelt with a double burner propane stove, yard sale find. Use a couple of heavy pots for melting, lots of ingot molds.
Slotted spoon for dross, heavy duty scoop for filling ingot molds. Sawdust for fluxing.
Lee 20 lb pot, I would get all 6 gang molds instead of the 2 gang I presently have. Sawdust for fluxing.
Old paint can for dross. Hardwood stick for banging molds open.
Been casting for 357 and 44 mag for years. Started casting for 45 ACP and 7.62x39. (steel cased Berdan primed).
Then 300 blk. I use the same 155 gr bullet, sized ,310 for 300 blk, .314 for 7.62x39.
Last year moved on to powder coating. No more messy lube for me.
Then added 2 more 30 cal bullets, and a 90 gr SWC for 32 mag.
Recently got the Lee 55 gr .225 mold for 233. Haven't fired these yet. My goal is 2200 to 2500 fps, no leading and functions AR. We will see.
Get the Lee push through sizing dies. Perfect for PC bullets. Screws into press like a die. Less than $20.
Go join Cast Boolits, good guys and lots of forums. They do spell bullets funny though.
