I have been loading on it for a few years now.  It is mounted on a Dillon strongmount, which is fantastic, however the spent primers are supposed to fall in a little basket underneath.   The whole thing is lined up just a little bit off because it usually looks like this pretty soon after you start loading:



I was surfing on the Brian Enos forums and saw a way to fix it.   I really can't believe I had never seen it before on here, so I'm doing my part to spread the word.  

All you need is some tubing, and a .38 case (or .357, as long as it has the rim).

Take the bracket off of the spent primer catch,   I used the original one that came with the press, not the one that came with the strong mount.  

Drill out the primer pocket of a .38 case... I used a 1/4" bit to give me as big of a hole as possible:



Stick the 38 case through the hole in the bracket.   Get whatever length of tubing, 3/8" inside diameter, 1/2" outside diameter, is what I used.  It cost me 69 cents a foot.   Slip that on the 38 case.  Grab some washers to use to match the thickness of the rim of the .38 case.



Caution...  it's easy to put the bracket on upside down.   It will bolt on but the primer drop will be off center, and not work.   Be aware of this.

I drilled a 9/16th hole through the table, and screwed a lid to the bottom side.  

Press down:

As the press moves up and down, the tube moves with it, so make sure you don't cut it too short if you're not letting it hang down farther.

The guy on BE let the tube run down to the floor and had a couple of presses dumping into a gallon jug.   You can obviously fit this to however it will work for your setup. So for 69 cents, a plastic jug that would have otherwise been thrown away, and some screws and washers that I already had, I feel I did pretty well.   I assume you could make this work with some of the other presses but I'm not sure how the other Dillons (or whatever press you have) might dump the spent primers.

I did the same with some electrical tape.   I had considered trying to cut the rails back so I could slide it in a little farther, but one I saw the pictures of this I thought it looked like more of a long term solution.
