I am just finishing my 16" 1:8 twist carbine in 300 blackout build, and will be loading mostly 147gr pulled, hornady 150gr fmj and some cast

155 lee mold sized to 309 and gas checked. I will only be running supersonic loads out this rig.

My question is which powder to go with either h110 or lil gun any loads which function with good accuracy would be greatly appreciated

if you shared. Or if you can just tell me which is the better powder for me to work with out of the two. Thanks in advance.

Please don't flame me if this is a common question I saw a lot of loads but would like a more precise answer since I will be only using

those specific bullets.

1680 and 4227 are two other powders to look into.

I use H110 powder in my 16' 300 BLK with 110 gr. V-Max, 125 Nosler BT's,  147 gr. pulls, and 150 Hornady FMJ's. Winchester 296 is identical to H110 and Win 296 seems more available at this time. H110 shoots well with the 147 gr. pulls and cycles perfectly in my rifle. With H110, LC  once fired formed cases, RP 7 1/2 primers and 147 gr. bullets seated to  2.130-2.140" I get 2001-2010 fps in my 16" barrel with 16.7 grains. I wouldn't go any higher. I have settled on loading 16.5 grains of H110 for my 147 grain loads and it shows no pressure signs and shoots well for pulled military bullets and gets slightly less than 2000 fps. Some report a little more velocity with less pressure using Lil-Gun but I haven't tested it. Whichever you can find would be what I'd start with as both work well. I haven't had any problems with H110 and loads from 110 to 150 grains.

The most common powders for the 300BLK are the h110 for supers and AA1680 for subs. I don't use Lil gun any more as I found that the other powders are more reliable at cycling the bolt. If you just need one powder the AA1680 would work for your heavier supers and work superbly for your subs. Just like the previous poster said if you load lighter bullets you will run out of case capacity using AA1680 though.

Both should work.  As MY rule of thumb, the lilgun is better for bullets 130 and up.  The h110 better for the lighter.  All supersonic.

Save the money and check grafs and powedervalley daily and when they show lil gun just buy a few jugs of 8lbs. Im starting but i just bought 16 lbs of lil gun to stock a bit until i can buy more. This is a hobby where you save money so you can spend it all hopefully at once and save on shipping and hazmat not to mention availability isnt to common anymore so you need to jump on it while you can since you dont know when it will be available again. Right now i saved enough to buy 20k primers, just waiting for them to be instock to get them.

I seem to be in the minority in my experience but I've had my best luck with H110.

I picked up a pound of lil gun h110 and varget since they had some at my local shop. TaX season I usually do the online bulk order for the gentlemen that said to order from PV or Grafs. Got raped 100 bucks for 3 pounds of powder but wanted this powder to start loading asap. The varget well when you see it you buy it lol
