What load data? And what does "seems" hot mean exactly. Best to get a chrono to know for sure where you stand.

I load mine @ 2.230" (PRVI HPBT 75gr)
After playing with several different powder charges, I settled on 23.5 grains. The only time I went higher (23.8gr), I got a few pierced primers. No problems at 23.5 grains and my load runs high 27xx/low 28xx depending on the weather out of my 22" Mini 14 target rifle. I can routinely put 4 out of 5 into a 1 inch group @ 100 yards with this combo. |

I have settled on 23.5 in mine. All my ladders show it is the most accurate in my rifles. No signs of pressure at this load.

23.5 gr here, too.
I use it behind both the Hornady and the PRVI brands of 75 gr bullets. |

23.8gr 2.250COL
Have not chorny then let, but no pressure signs. My rifle 20" 1/8 Lothar Walther. Make sure to work up to this load. |

Might be worth calling out what primers are being used for the hotter loads; they can make a difference in the hotter loads vs piercing, etc.

Did you check the online Ramshot data for 5.56 NATO pressures? I have seen copies pass through this forum before. Be aware, for reloading, the case life will be shorter (fewer useful reload cycles) at the "hot" pressures. It is just something you have to trade off.

I've gone up to 25 gr with the Widners 75 gr.,but 24 gr was the best combination of accuracy and speed for me.
