Any one shooting and/or reloading for a CVA Stalker Elite? Im helping a friend load some but cant seem to get a group better then around 2" at 100yds. We have tried 4895, 3031, RL-15.
Best results came from RL-15 with a 200gr tsx. Did shoot 200 gr Barnes and Corelokt. Did do a search and looked thru 11 pages so if someone can give us some info or link to post that would be great. Thanks...

My Whelen is built on a 1909 Argentine mauser action.  Only bullet I have really ever used is the Speer 250 spitzer.  That bullet in Remington brass with a CCI 200 primer and 55 grains of RL-15 will give me 2500 fps and just under an inch for 5 shots.

Im shooting from a lead sled so thats good. I did check all the screws. I shoot a 1/2" group with my T/C and RL-15. This gun not shooting bad, but I would think it would shoot a little tighter groups. But then again might be asking to much from a CVA. Not a big fan of CVA even tho I did shoot one at a 100 yards with about a 3/4" group so I know its possible. 55g of RL-15 with 200gr TSX is what worked the best. Only after I put the COL to  3.09.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Been reloading for 3 years and shooting for 25 years. Joined this site for the vast info on the AR stuff. Plans on building one so im learning. Other info is a great bonus.
