I like them a lot so far, but, they are my first set so nothing to compare them to. Not to hijack, but, what do you guys clean them with?

Lee dies work and are decent bang for the buck.
I'm not real thrilled with the depriming setup in their sizing dies. It seems like their rifle sizing dies size the best with Lee shell holders in single stage presses, probably not unusual and not a big deal. I like their seating die adjustment and it works for "most" bullet types but not all. I'm a big LFCD fan with jacketed pistol bullets. I prefer Dillon sizing dies in stage one of my RL550 for handgun calibers, much better depriming setup. |

You notice I converted the nuts to lock nuts. 7.63x39 set. |

Inside, alcohol and as Q tip. When dry a light spray with sizing lube. Either FA or Dillon, the top 2. Outside CLP, and wipe with a cloth. |

I've been running lee dies since the 80s. In my book, they are great values. Clean em up with carb cleaner and protect with a quick shot of wd-40 between uses.

Had several. Rather have RCBS as a good 'budget' die. The Lee uses a O ring rather than a lock nut, it does not stay in place. They will sell you the locking ring seperately. I gave up on Lee dies, but use lots of the other accessories.

I have sets in .40, .308, 9mm, and .223 and really like them. Only downside is that they seem to be more prone to rust than say Dillion or RCBS dies

Have die sets in Dillon, Hornady, RCBS and a few Forster and Redding Dies. My first set of dies were Lee and I still have them in 32acp, .38spcl, 9mm, .357sig, 40S&W, 45acp, .223 Remington and .308 Winchester. I keep'em all in dry storage without rust issues. Yea, there might be a tinge of rust on .32acp and .357sig because I hardly ever use them and it's nothing 30 minutes in tumbler won't take care of.
Lee dies will last longer than any two of my lifetimes if cared for the way you should any die. |

I have more Lee dies than any other brand. My only complaint is the decapping set-up, but it works really well if you're loading military calibers and get the occasional Berdan primed case.
For the other calibers, I solder the stem in place using TIX low-melt temp solder from Brownell's. |

I bought them for .45ACP and they do the job and saved me some cash. For my rifles I use Redding.

they've been good to me for the last 12yrs. I have sets in 9mm, 45acp, .223, .308, .270, 8mm, 30carbine, and 50Beowulf. I've broke one decapper pin in 12yrs, do to me trying to get out a stuck case(my fault not the dies). Other than that, never a problem.

I use just about exclusively lee dies. The only thing is on the Dillon 550 or other progressives they lack the radiused opening of the Dillon dies for super smooth operation in a progressive.

I only use Lee dies on my Dillion 550. 45ACP and .38 work like butter though it. With .223 I have to guide the case and bullet with my fingers up into the die. I have got used to it and now comes natural but i have been pinched a couple times. |
