Just out of curiosity, what do you guys find is your accurate load with 55s(I am using Hornadys) and TAC

At 24.5 GR I am getting good groups with a red dot (3-4" @ 100)

At 25.5, it opens up quite a bit.

24.5 shoots real well with Hornady 55gr sp and Nosler BTS

25.2, w/ Hornady. If your trying with any other 55FMJ, you probably wasting your time. H55's can be sub moa, milspec crap maybe 1.5-2 moa.

I'd say the replys also tell you a few other things. Every rifle is different and needs a slightly different load, and pushing it really hard, isn't the best for accuracy. You can load TAC at 26 or even 27 grains for 556 pressures, but your giving up accuracy when you do.

24.5 for me.

Same here.  And I don't know why the OP would shoot for groups using a red dot.

25.5 with Hornady or MG

Anything below 25.0 and groups really start to open

I wasn't specifically shooting for groups. I was sighting in my new T-1. My buddy (spotter) commented that I was all over the place with the first loads.. When I switched ammo it tightened up alot.
