Does anyone have a good load for this combo? It will be fired from a.223 Bushmaster Predator with a 20" 1 in 8 twist. In the 2010 Hodgdon manual they have a load for a 70 grn Speer that I am going to use as a start

I don't have any help for you, but I do like IMR-8208 XBR with Sierra's 69 gr HPBT.

Did you try the Hodgdon web site?

What kind of velocity did you get with your 8208 & 69gr SMK load, I have some 8208 I bought to test in 6.8(to slow) and never really found a good load for my 69gr SMK and even though the 8208 was slow in the 6.8 it was very accurate so I'm wondering if velocity is better in .223 with a good accurate load of 8208?
