Hello all, i posted a question earlier in the team only thread. Didnt think about it at the time but i should have posted it here. Apologize for the dupe(
 )but i need some better input, hopefully you guys can help me out. Original message>>
Hello all, i need the hives help. I've got a 12x12x5.5 & an 11x8.5x5.5 flat rate box, both of which are filled with .223 once fired brass. Anyone know roughly how much many pieces each box will hold? Thanks in advance |

The bigger flat-rate box should hold around 2000+ pieces of .223 brass and the smaller one will hold around 1500-1600 pieces of .223 brass.

It really depends on how stuffed full they are. I have seen over 1800 pieces crammed in the medium flat rate box when a "full" box that isnt packed tight with brass containing about 1500. The same thing with a large flat rate with counts ranging from 2400-2800 pieces.
1000 cases weigh about 14 lbs, so the easiest way to determine the count is to just weigh them and divide the weight by 14 which should get you a count +/- 100 pieces. |

And you want your answer to be what kind of tolerance?....+/- 10 cases, +/- 20 cases, what?
