Anyone reloading the 327?

Just curious – what firearm?

What results are you getting?

Isn't the Ruger SP101 the only production pistol chambered in .327 so far?  I've yet to see one, let alone decide I needed it enough to set up to reload for it.  If you know where to get both the gun and the ammo, please pass that on!

I have a Taurus 327.  Its basically a 605 6-shot chambered for .327 Federal.  So far I've loaded .32S&W Long and .32 H&R Magnum for it, but not having any .327 Federal brass, I haven't loaded any .327s for it.  The shop I got it from didn't have any .327 ammo.  Midway has (or had last week anyway) Federal American Eagle 100 grain JSP for it, but for $25.00/50 plus shipping of about $13 I decided to pass for now.  I'm hoping Starline will eventually make brass for it and I will never have to buy factory 327 ammo.

FWIW, Ruger, Taurus, Charter Arms, and S&W are all offering revolvers in .327 and Freedom Arms is offering a .327 cylinder for their .32 H&R revolver.

This is damn close to a .30 M1 Carbine, in both pressure and case capacity.  Just a bit larger than the Carbine in diameter (0.006") but identical in case capacity.

I have a SP-101 in 32 H&R mag and a S&W M31 in 32 S&W long that I load for.

Both are very accurate, and the wife loves the 32 S&W long.

A SP-101 in 327 is in my future.
