Hey Guys-
I am looking for winchester comercial 223 brass for reloading my "match" loads,
and have found a source that knows squat about reloading, says the cases are winchester
white box (WWB) with winchester case marked as such.
Does anyone know if these are crimped primers or regular comercial ??
Thanks
John

the only crimped primers that I know of for WWB is the Q3131 or Q3131A.  WCC is also crimped.  If it is marked "Winchester .223" on the case head, it should be commercial .223 and no crimp on the primer.

ETA:  I'm still reloading cases from the WWB walmart valuepacks from a few years ago.  Made in Israel, with no crimp.  Marked "Winchester .223"

I have run across Winchester marked head stamp that did have the primer crimp,, don't know what box they are from.
You should check before your buy.

Well the guy said they had winchester on the case head, but I emailed him a pic
from  the info on the top of this reloading section.
He should be able to tell me if crimped or not.
Thanks
John
