OK, I just got this cleaner, and it has two lids. One normal, and one like a strainer.

The directions, and box has no mention of the strainer one.

It would be hard to use as a strainer, being flat, and also it would not be a great see through lid, so...

Question:  What is the main purpose of this lid?  



I have used vibratory cleaners before, but with one lid.

Just a guess, but it might not mysterious.....a strainer?  Just invert the tumbler over a 5gal pail and recover the tumbling media?

Never used mine, but I'd guess you screw that one on and flip the tumbler over and shake it to get the media out.
