I have always found Hornaday very consistent in OAL and my go to choice... Winchester comes in second and Remington third.
As always YMMV. |

Not jacketed like Federal. Have heard those often come apart in the barrel. Also heard they increase throat wear. |

So I'm not sure what to think about the Federal 55g FMJBT, I'll just have to try them...I put in a order for 500 Hornadys from Midway and they are on back order. Their website had 11-20-08 as the expected delivery date so who knows when...
