Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Can anyone tell me how big the granules of IMR 4895 are?

I just got a jug in and they're a lot smaller and shorter than I expected. About the size and length of Benchmark I think.
I've heard of them looking like pencil leads but these are much smaller than that. Unless your talking about a mechanical pencil.

I'll try to post a pic later. Can anyone give me a good idea for a reference to include in the pic? A dime maybe?

The diameter of the extruded IMR4895 stick is approximately .034" and the sticks vary from about .055-.060" long in my jug anyway.
