The folding stock is too short by half an inch. I'm in Michigan as well and went with a retractable stock with an overall length of 26.75 inches if I remember correctly. It wasn't worth having a folder and giving leo an excuse to confiscate my rifle or pistol as it is considered here in Michigan.

Thats what I wanted to know.
Yeah if its 26.75 inches it can be registered as a pistol no problem but there is no way the side folder would fly if its a half inch under. Would be an SBR in Michigan. Which slide stock did you use? The real one or an Airsoft replica? |

I bought this one hereand am very happy with it so far. Fits very snugly with no play. Has a nice thick rubber pad on the end and metal rails.
