I just got my Comp M4 in the mail today from Botach. It works perfect and is defiantly a authentic Aimpoint. I was even able to get it registered with no problems. I did notice that the dial clicks very well for the brightness settings and stops once you hit the last setting. However, when you turn it to the off position, the dial will actually still turn counter clockwise a little past the off position and feels a bit mushy at that point. Is that normal or could I have a defective dial?

I never noticed that on mine.  Give Aimpoint a call and see what they say.
