Sword like that is tricky to price without some sort of pro on it; he could be selling you a rare sword or some junk he found at a flea market. I'd be careful. Someone will come shortly to expand on this.

Run Forest RUN! That is a POS Chinese made crap sword, one step above a mall sword with a zink blade! You will never see a true Nihonto sword looking like that. Look for those types of blades on Ebay for less than $100 and a rip off at that price!

That is not a "sword" it a cheap chinese-made piece of crap wallhanger that vaguely resembles a japanese sword from a distance of more than 8 feet. It's value is about $20. |
