David is one of those really great knifemakers from Australia. He only does fixed blades and most of his knives are designed for hard field use. But that doesn't mean that they can't also be pretty. He uses a lot of the woods from down there that we seldom see in the US, woods like Curly Jarraw and Ringed Geegee. Here are three that David has made for me over the years.

This first is a Bowie.

The first knife he ever made for me was a hunter with a She-Oak (only an Aussie would sex wood) and Myall handle.

The most recent one is a small, personal utility with an Ebony handle with white Corian spaces.
