Anyone have any pics in the meantime?

Dammit, I was about to ask you where you got it and how much.....

Speaking of which, I have a ? about the knife. I've heard a lot about MT quality, however never played with one of their OTF's. The knife will be a duty knive and potentially be used to stab and/or cut folks. My question is, when the knife is deployed, does it "lock" in the out position and is it sturdy enough to stab?

How about this?

damn that's a bad ass knife, DAMN I HATE THIS STATE! here in NC we can have automatics that come out of the side, but not one that are considered "spring-loaded projectile knives."

You may want to check your statute/ordinance again. Chances are if it says "projectile" knife it's referring to a ballistic knife that actually fires the blade from the handle as a seperate piece. If that's the case the Microtech would be fine.

On microtechs old website they claimed the scarab could take the normal force of the average person. Or at least thats how I read it. Ive plunged mine into a wall with no problems. If you have weak finger it may take some practice getting comfortable with the button. They designed the mechanism so that the springs would last longer. I have no problems with it.
