Afriend was looking at this Benchmade model 552 S30V blade knife. Any comments or experinces with this knife I can pass along? If it is a good working folder I might get one myself......Thanks  Trapfan.

I think it's a great blade for the money...it's my "cheap Sebezna" alternative.  The steel is great, handle is comfortable and I like the wider blade profile.  Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it at all...I've been using it the most when I go hiking/camping and it accompanied me and my son on our winter BoB campout.

Pictured just above the blade tip of my Sebenza, center bottom.

I just bought a Ritter Grip last week.  So far I really like it, I've had a standard 551 grip for a while and I really like the step up to this one.

How do you guys like that griptillian handle versus something like micarta or g-10?

I like the 'grip handle, I've had some G-10 knives (Spyderco Paramilitary) and while I like the thinness of the G-10 and Micarta the molded grip of the Griptilian is really easy to hold onto, feels more egronomic
