Anyone have any idea what this thing is, what it's worth (if anything) and what rifle it goes to?

It is a Swedish 1896.  Looks like it was issued to the 3rd Battalion, Infantry Regiment 23.
The other side should have one of the  makers marks of: EAB for Eric Anton Berg;  a crowned C
for Carl Gustaf; or EJEAB over anchor for Eskilstuna plant.

Swedish Mauser Bayonet for the M96 rifle.  They seem to be fairly common bayonets but, I'm not sure on price .  I think they've been discussed before IIRC, you may want to search.  The majority that I've seen have had non-matching numbers and have been without the leather frog.

Hope that helps, YMMV
