I bought one of these a few months ago, I have not shot it yet it as I am saving for the glass. Now what to buy?  Im thinking Nightforce 5.5x22x56 or Leupold MK4 16x. Im a little hesitant on the fixed power scope as I have heard eye relief is critically narrow, and the feild of view is smaller. This is not a light rifle and I dont want to fight with having to find the target. Im just going to use this rifle to mess around with 500 to 1500 yards. No competition shooting. Also does anybody have one of these and what do they shoot like? Are they accurate with match grade ammo?
     Thanks for any help!

i have two amac's and have had a markiv 16x(boosted to 32) that did not hold up.  i have had only two scopes that worked well:  a B&L 10x 30mm that they do not make anymore and a NSX 5.5x22.  the NSX is heavy, but worth the weight.
I have shot one of mine and it will hold moa out to 500.  I have not shot it more than that because I could not find a range.  It kicks like a 20g shotgun, but much, much louder.
FYI.  I had Arizona Ammo load me a ton of ammo  specifically for my AMAC's when they were talking banning 50BMG ammo.  If you want to buy some I will sell it to you for what I bought it for(I have the reciepts).  I have 750AMAX match and 660 ball.

Hell, Just blew up my scope this weekend with my LAR Grizzley. Had a BSA Catseye 6.5-20x50. It lasted about fifty-five rounds when one of the focusing elements inside fell apart.

Think I will shell out a several hundred for a leupold, but just recently saw a scope in shotgun news specifically for the 50; drop compensator, mil-dot ranging, etc. Maybe the $800 is worth it? Some off name, can't remember who it was made by.

Springfield Arms has a Lifetime Warranty. I also think Leupold has it.
