I have a friend with, he thinks about 20 rnds of .50 ammo, Headstamp 50 69, and tips are yellow.  From what I researched it looks to be dominican made.  Anyone know if its worth trying to sell here, or if its crap ammo.  Any thoughts on what to do with it would help.  He doesn't have a .50, not sure why he has them.

You're probably buying tiny hand grenades.

I not buying them for myself, I was trying to help him sell them, I don't have a .50 Maybe someday.  I was just curious if they would be worth anything to anyone, maybe i'll just pull the bullets and scrap um.

Those yellow tip Dominican rounds are universally known to be about THE WORST 50 BMG ammo available.  Loaded SUPER hot.  Dangerous.

I'm sure they have some collector value as the crappiest ammo around.  Maybe he could sell them for that.

The brass is pretty weak. Ab out the only thing worthwhile of the components is the projectile.

The ones I had would rattle if you shook them, the cores were loose!

Stay away from EVERYTHING Dominican 50 BMG. Ammo and components.
Too much other good stuff out there right now. 'Nuff said.

I told him what you guys were saying about it and he says never mind with the sale.  I'll get one from him and post a picture slug-0 if someone doesn't post one first.  He said he thinks when he bought them a long time ago he paid like 10 for a box of ten and there was a ton of them on an old rotting pallet.  Thats where I want to buy my ammo from a rotting pallet

The pallet was more safe/sound then the ammo.
