Cool!  I can piss Ted Kenedy off now that I just bought 250 porjos!  I was prety sure they were AP, but at the price I couldn't pass them up!

690-700 grn AP projectiles are available from all over the place, usually they run around 225 per 1k and slightly more for lower numbers.

Anything that beats 22 cents per projectile is pretty good.

Surprisingly things like API or APIT are usually cheaper at around 17 cents per projectile.

I just bought  1000 ea. of Tracer amd API at Knob Creek for $0.10 a piece. I also picked up both Spotter tracer and Incendary for 0.25 apiece.  Thats a little more than I wanted to pay for the two but the suppliers I bought them from was the only one on site that had them.

The trick to buying projectiles for me is to  one buy in volume, and if you can get them from a vendor that attends shows that are in your area they will often times bring them to the show for you to pick up.

also picked up 32 lbs. of 5010 for a bit over $3.00 a pound as well as 1000 CCI 35's for $165

I should be good to go for some time. I will most likely pick up another 32 lbs of powder and another 1000 Primers at next springs shoot

Now if he would have said he bought 250 ROUFUS projo's then a flag would have gone up.

Right around 215 grains is what many use, 210 on the low side but 215 seems to be common place.
