my nighforce arrived last night & the badger rings are on their way.... i forgot to order the scope base
 what scope base should i buy? why is it they usually offer a 1/2 degree base? cant i just buy the ordinary straight scope bases? please help. tnx

You can get the straight base. Lots of people get the tapered bases because it lets them get more elevation adjustment from their scope.

if ever i get the tapered barrel...will i be able to engage the 100m targets also? some says that i will be limited to 250 targets ? is this true? please help. thanks
