I came across a few slap rounds and was wondering if anyone knew where they could be sold?  I talked to a guy at a local gun show that said at knobb creak they were going for 50-65 bucks a round.  I also have a couple of he silver green rounds that he was pricing at 50 bucks a pop.  anyone know of people who buy these up?

If you paid $50 a pop for SLAP you got jacked brother! A certain gun Mfg. sells them for $20 each, **cough Serbu cough**.

SLAP and SLAP-T normally go gor around $10-15 and the Raufoss in the $35-60 price range. Its really a spot market for these rounds so there really isn't a "book price".

I didn't pay 50.  I simply said that I had seen them for that.

slap is a smaller round that is made for penetrating armour.
raufus is a multi purpose he style round.

Can SLAP be shot out of a muzzlebraked barrel, like a Barrett rifle?

DO NOT shoot SLAP with a muzzle brake on! Barrett did have some M82's with a SLAP chamber, they also opened up the muzzle brake to allow shooting them. Most .50's won't chamber them and if you do get them to, remove the muzzle brake before firing. If not, you might be missing it after firing one.

ive been getting conflicted reports on that actually.  Our scout snipers have m107s and they fire slap rounds through them.  Ive heard that its the type of thing that you can do it but there is a chance it will cause trouble.  I won't be doing untill I read something official.

The question for me now is that if you have a can on your 50 can you fire the slap rounds?

as I said above.  wasn't planning on shooting it through my brake any time soon...also not planning on taking the break off either.  that my friends is why you must buy these rounds off of me.

If your AR50 came with instructions it states clearly in the ammunition section that SLAP is a no-no.
