The Barrett Instructions suggest removal of the Brake on a 99 to clean it out right and also clean the crown of the barrel. I know I have many rounds to go before it needs to be done. Still which way does it turn off and how much Ft?Lbs of torque does it take to put back on. What is the best tool to use or is there a tool made for it?

Thanks mine only has the one Torx screw and I see the directions say loosen two also. No big deal I needed to know which way to turn it Thanks for that. I am sure it will not have to come off for some time. Do you really think this is a necessary step right away say after about 100 or so rounds?
