I saw someone Bump Fire a Beowulf today.
From the shoulder. Wish I took pictures.

I bumped quit a few Barretts when I worked there. It was a gas!

I cant do it. I almost got it from the hip, but no way on my shoulder.

The older rifles, before the new disconnector with the front and rear hooks are easier to bump from the shoulder. It takes a bit of practice and you have to milk the trigger very lightly.
The sear coming back over the transfer bar will upset it sometimes and you can get a few rounds off. Really cool when you get the feel for it.
The new disconnector keeps that from happening.

I wish I had some vid of it. It is a riot. Especially doing it with someone elses ammo.

We shot so many rifles we invented ways to shoot them to amuse ourselves at the range.

Not my choice. They just decided they didn't need me anymore. I work at Serbu Firearms now and am much happier.

Beowulf is a 50AE round on a AR15 platform. Nothing like a 50BMG

Definatly not doin that with a BMG, the only semi I know of is the M82. just holding that thing up to your shoulder is a feat. much less bump firing it. I think the rifle would bumpfire your ass off the ground. you would be picking your rifle up and your self cusing a blue streak while your buddies stood back and chuckled
