looking at a 24'' bbl upper for an ar-15 lower  from ultralight.com

but i heard that a 28''-29'' bbl provides the minimum lenght for maximum powder burning, velocity, and efficientcy

what should i get? why?

29" is the minimum for burning all the powder in a standard mil-spec round.
