So, I call McBro's about how to break in their rifle..  I posted this in the General forum but figured I'd post what I found out here as well.  Anyway, I call McBro's because I figured why not find out from the pros how to break my Repeater in.  They told me to shoot and clean for the first five rounds and then clean every third round until I've reach eighteen.  After that they said "that the barrel should be about as broke in as it's gonna be."

Just figured I'd post what I found out straight from the horse's mouth in case anybody else had the same question.

One thing that you'll find out about barrel break in is that there's a different way for each person that you ask.

If there way works for you then use it. The late Gale McMillan said that the need to break in new barrels was a myth and was a tactic used to sell more barrels.
