Rock River sells a .50 Beowulf? I didn't know that. I've only seen .50 Beowulf in an Alexander Arms upper. www.impactguns.com/store/alexander_arms.html I've never fired one (though if someone I know brings his to Bulletfest... ). My impression is it's sort of like an upper that shoots 45-70. It uses regular AR mags, but they operate as single stacks. You would probably have to reload to have much fun with it as they are pretty expensive. They might be a fun carbine for deer season.

Alexander Arms also sells a .21 Genghis upper, which is just another name for the commie 5.45x39 (or whatever the heck it is) AK-74 round. I talked to someone from there at the Shot Show

I think the 458 SOCOM is a competitor to the 50 Beowulf. If you ask in the AR section there are guys over there that have these.
