I talked with one guy who claims to have well over 1000 rounds through his and his lower shows absolutely no ill effects. As far as the buffer spring in the stock, it has to be removed before the Ferret50 upper can be used.

So how about it.......lets see your .50

Lumpy,

I am getting one exactly like yours.  What parts do you leave out when building the Rock River lower?  Also, what size Badger rings are those, regular or high?  Finally, how's that scope working for you and what is it?

Thanks

Mine might not be as accurate as the Barretts of this world, but the cyclic rate is a bit higher <g>

How about a LEGP Ferret50? I know it is several months away, but we are already planning for Shot Show 2003. One new thing we will have there are lowers machined from 4140, as well as a whole bunch of cool stuff.

Hey Dave,
Since I was gonna buy one of your uppers anyway, the idea of a group purchase sounds good to me. I have no problem with saving money!
I'd have bought it already, had I not had two guys back out of buying a handgun I'm selling.
My upper; Left Handed Reciever, 60 MOA Sight Base, 36" Ultramatch Barrel.
Thanks for making the offer to AR15 members. Hopefully many will jump on board.

Respectfully,
Harry

Any estimate on a price?  I'm getting hammered with guns I HAVE TO buy!  But this one is by far the best!

Ferret50 on a RRA lower...

I dated a girl like that,  Big Upper-Twigs for legs...

She ate anything!

Enjoy my friend! I did...
