Ok I've been waiting not so patiently for SWFA to start shipping the SS 1-6 this summer, but now I'm thinking of going in a different direction.

Anyone  here ever actually used a Leupold HAMR with the red dot?
I'm looking for firsthand impressions as far as glass quality, durability, and any shortcomings in the design or reticle..

ps. I'm also considering just going with another ACOG. Seems to be in the same class of optic and comparable price.
I will be running this setup in 3 gun heavy metal division once everything is done.

I just went with a IOR Valdada.

The HAMRs bdc is set up for an AR15s height above bore and 5.56mm.  It really won't work well on a SCAR-H.
