I know this was asked before, but i'd like to get a second opinion/fact on this. Approximately how many registered, legal M16s are there in the NFA registry? (This doesn't include RDIAS)

Also, do you think there are *some* outside of this registry?

And since you're excluding DIAS, are you also counting any conversion RR, or just M16-marked guns?  How about factory full autos like the AR-15 Models 01, 02, 614, 615?  The PAWS ZX-16s?  The Group stainless RRs?

Or RR w/o a third hole but with a blacksheep DIAS?

The list of NFA legal transferable machine guns is not public knowledge so no way to tell for sure. Also if you vaguely say m16 I would say you should count RDIAS along with RLL as well, if you exclude those the. You have to start to question the non-colt RR and different generations of colt m16s, the earlier ar15 by colt that had been either factory or aftermarket converted, etc....
