I have been trying to find two Colt Model 723/733 Uppers for a long time. Why are they so hard to find???   I see tons of the older uppers and newer style uppers for sale. I have the barrels I need, but can never find the uppers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys and gals for a great website.

Is the 733 an 11.5" on an A1? If so, try Dennis Todd. he had a few at a gunshow 2 weeks ago.

I just bought a 733 upper from Vahan at Autoweapons.com.

These uppers are hard to find because they were made during the mid 1980s to early 1990s when AR-15 production was at an all time low.

Does anyone know of a good source for these?  I have an original M-16 A2 Commando coming in, but I want to store all the original parts to the gun.  I would like to keep the original look though.  Any ideas on where I get parts?  Thanks.
