Went and shot my Sten Mk6 at the range today . Only shot 50 rounds but had a blast . I decided to take the Sten out on semi at 25,50,75, and 100 yards. Out to 50 the accuracy is acceptable but after that it drops off hard . I landed one miss at 75 and one hit at 100. These were 5 round groups . Then to cheer myself up I dumped 32 at 10 yards full auto.

...as the normies stood around behind you and said, "Oh, my! Oh, my!".

I love it . Nice welds , cocking slot is in the correct location. Looks good. Only thing I can’t place is that grip , it’s not a standard MK5 grip, any backstory on it ?

Looks like a "customized" Thompson grip.

I never noticed it, until you pointed it out…. It just came that way.. I am not sure of the history, but the comment on being a modified Thompson could be spot on.  I have a whole entire kit for spares, so if I am feeling nostalgic, I can swap them out.  I am thinking of getting one of my extra front ends threaded and adding a three lug for my can..

That’s not exactly a 100 yard gun, even in semi auto from a supported position...
