Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Okay, here is what I want to do to my sbr, will it work?

Hey all,
   I have an sbr with a 7.5 inch barrel and yhm free float tube.  I want to replace the 4 inch tube with a carbine length FF Rail.  Will it work and what mods will I need to do?  I assume replace the gas block with a low profile one, but what else?  Thanks guys--

I've got a SBR w/ a 7" barrel.  I put a YHM freefloat tube on w/ one of the YHM low profile gas blocks, and a DPMS linear brake.  It works great.

i've got a cmmg inc 7.3" with a ymh carbine ff rail (i think 7"), low pro gas block with a Noveske Flamin Pig.
