Well submitted my Form 4's a few days ago and I got an update on tracking this morning. It said "your item has been delivered to an agent at 7:43am on December 17, 2016 in Atlanta, GA 30353." Is it normal for packages to be "delivered to an agent?" It's been years since I bought a NFA item.

On to the pics. SHARK SUPPRESSORS yall ever heard of them? All titanium with the blast baffle being Inconel. I am a yyyuge fan of these guys and will put them up against the best. I didn't get to weigh the .556 can but it is silly light. Has to be in the 10-16oz range but that's without the QD mount. So this is what I got:

.22LR thread on
(2) .556 QD
10.5 SBR Seekins Matched set, 24C, AA Piston, Shilin SS Barrel Melonited

Tell us more about Shark Suppressors. Why do you like them? Have you heard them side by side with other silencers? Is this your first one?

Sooooo, a sparkler?  I have a YHM Titanium, but I believe the baffle stack is still inconel on mine.  I have a good bit of experience on the job with Titanium, and I don't think it will hold up well as a baffle material.  Still, as light as it is, I would be okay with a $200 one post HPA!

What made you go with these over a more established brand?
how long has Shark been around? Know anyone else that has ever bought/ shot one? because in my worldly travels I have never seen one in stock nor ever spoken with anyone who has even shot one, let alone owned one. They pitched them to us at SHOT last year and we passed. So outside of the limited exposure in the Sands this is the only other time I have even heard of them.

Why did you buy 2 5.56 cans? And pretty much all QD 5.56 cans are 10-16 oz. Nothing shocking there.
The 22 can is 7.6 oz and all Titanium? And less than 6" long? Because those numbers don't make sense. If it were all Ti that thing should be under 4oz, not pushing 8oz.

I hope to God that their cans are better than their website.

I am a yyyuge fan of these guys and will put them up against the best.

- These statements usually end in heartbreak.

And based on these statements on every product page I would run and run FAR
* Specs are subject to chnage without notice. Weight and size may vary slightly based on coating type, mount selected and other variables.
** All sales are final. No refunds due to circumstances beyond my control.

- yeah, they spelled "change" wrong.

Best of luck. Hope you're happy with them.

Titanium is fine for most baffle applications.

I'll answer all you guys questions under this post. Well David and I go back many years and I bought one of his cans years ago and was very happy with it. As we became friends I got to shoot a lot of his cans with him so I got a lot of experience with them (years) and really liked the way they sounded. I remember when he was first developing the 556 can and got to see variations of prototypes until the final model was finalized. Now the final model is out and I wanted one... or 2. Also some of the offerings on the market aren't all titanium and I like Ti.

Shark has been around for almost a decade or maybe more. I very much give him a hard time about his site. He really needs some updating there. I don't think it's been updated in 7 years. His site is not indicative of his quality of work but I can see, if you knew nothing about Shark, one would be skeptical. Also there are def some errors on his site. My SWR Spectre is much heavier than this 22 can. When it gets out of jail I'll be weighing it.

I bought 2 556 cans because I only have one other 556 can currently so needed a few more. Also the QD lock up locks up with all 76 teeth and can only clock in same position every time so I like that.

Yes, completely normal. They're delivered to the vendor that processes the payment, not directly to the ATF.

I did just get an email back from the owner David. He's in the hospital but still took the time to respond to my request for more information. So out of respect, I'll withhold any further commentary.

He's also partnered with a pretty large player. I'll continue the research and report back.

My opinion is what it is based on experience. I know Shark isn't brought up a lot here so I thought it'd be cool for people to see other options in the suppressor world. I'm a paying and excited customer just like any one else that started their death wait. I just wanted to share with the community and see if anyone here has heard of them.

You should edit your first post on this thread with letting everyone know that you are friends with the owner. Just saying.
