Anyone use one of these AXTS Freedom Bone charging handles with ported shaft suppressed? I run Raptor charging handles on my SBR AR's and love them. Just wondering if there really is much of a reduced blowback with this design? Will the RTV silicone trick work with the actuating levers on the Raptor? My DD MK18 is seriously over gassed, and shooting it (I'm a lefty) is blinding after 5-6 rounds. I put a MicroMoa Govnah on my other 5.56 SBR, and it runs like a dream, but the Govnah won't fit under the RIS II rail on the MK18, and I'm trying to find other ways to tame the blowback, but don't want to waste money "experimenting".

The modified version of the Govnah was specifically machined to work with the RIS II and Geissele rails with no mods or contact.
Unfortunately, we are currently out of stock of the modified version pictured below.
Thanks!

I think this is a far better answer than a charging handle with holes in it.

I had no idea Micro Moa started making a new block that fit under the RIS II rail. I run a Govnah on my other 10.5" SBR, and it runs like a top. I'm looking forward to them getting in the reduced blocks. Very exciting news to me as the MK18 was in a holding pattern as it only gets ran suppressed.

How much needs to be taken off to fit a Geissele rail? I might just have to borrow the milling machine at work.

None, it fits under my MK5 without modification.

Standard Govnah worked no problem under my Mk 4 but the 3 position plate combined with a carbine gas (9.5" rail) won't adjust to the left/right positions, so you'll have to go 2 port or grind something.

Damn, wish those were out when I bought mine. It still works under the risII it just makes contact on both sides inside the rail.

Had that same issue as well w/ my mk4. The block fit fine, but the plate made contact. Other way around for the RIS II rail.
