I'm new to this can business. I've got 3 in jail now. One of which is a 7.62 Saker.

I'm an avid hunter and have several potential bolt action hosts inclusive of 270 win, 7mm Rem Mag, 300 Win Mag and 308 win. I want a can that can cover my bolt action duties - not sure if the Saker is the right option. Maybe it is.

My criteria are:
1) Weight
2) Accuracy - most shots are taken within 300 yrds
3) Price
4) Suppression

I'm generally a one and done guy in terms of making a shot. This can will not have a high round count in the field.

Should I go for a QD setup, or is direct thread easy enough to swap between hosts?

A few options I'm considering:
1) Silencerco Harvester
2) Griffin Armament Sportman DT
3) Griffin Armament PHS 300Mag
4) ThunderBeast 30CB9

Would appreciate any advice. I tend to over analyze this to the point where nothing gets done. Need a swift kick in the hind quarters from the group to motivate me.

If you want a dedicated bolt gun can I'd get the Harvester. Priced right and it's lightweight for walking around and standing shots when hunting.

Just use your saker.  I use one on my 308 which is my deer gun. Works fine and sounds good

For my precision rifles I use an allen engineering AE30. It is the best sounding 30 Cal can I have heard, the poi shift is minimal, and the price is right.

Saker should work fine.  With that said I would consider one of the new thunderbest cans.  I have the 30p1 and love it.  Look at their new cans though, looks like a good step up from the cb series.
